Solar Perspectives Website Privacy Policy
Two Towers Incorporated d/b/a Solar Perspectives
Last updated: Sept 12, 2025 • Version: 1.0
Executive brief
- What we collect: Contact form details and standard website analytics.
- What we don’t: We don’t sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t want project or dispute data submitted through the website.
- Why it matters: This policy covers the website only. Any project-specific contract, NDA, or engagement letter overrides this page.
- Your next steps: If you have questions or want your info removed, email privacy@solarperspectives.com.
1) Scope
This policy explains how the Solar Perspectives website (the “Site”) handles personal information about visitors. It does not govern our client, vendor, expert-witness, or other professional relationships. Those are covered by their own agreements, which prevail over this policy.
Who we are.
Two Towers Incorporated, a California corporation, 19 West Orange Grove Avenue, Sierra Madre, CA 91024 (“Solar Perspectives,” “we,” “us”).
Contact for privacy questions or requests.
privacy@solarperspectives.com
2) The information we collect
You provide:
- Contact form: name, email, company, role, service area, and any message you choose to submit.
We automatically collect:
- Usage/analytics data such as page views, approximate location (derived from IP by analytics tools), device/browser information, and timestamps.
Please don’t upload project or dispute data.
Do not submit confidential project materials or any personal data about third parties (for example, individuals involved in disputes). If such data is sent through the Site anyway, we will handle it under the applicable contract when one exists; otherwise we will delete it upon request.
3) How we use the information
- Respond to inquiries and schedule conversations you request.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site (usage analytics, troubleshooting, and quality).
- Comply with law and enforce Site terms.
We currently do not use personal information for targeted advertising, A/B testing, heatmaps, or session replay. If we add those later, we’ll update this policy and, where required, our consent and opt-out options.
4) Cookies and analytics
We plan to use Google Analytics (“GA4”) to understand Site usage. GA4 typically collects page paths, events, and device/browser details. According to Google, GA4 does not log or store IP addresses, but it may use them transiently to derive approximate location. We may adjust GA4 settings (for example, data retention windows) as needed.
Your choices:
- Use your browser’s settings to block or delete cookies.
- Use built-in browser controls like “Clear browsing data.”
If we later enable features that legally require consent (for example, EU/UK visitors) or opt-outs (for example, California “share” for cross-context ads), we’ll add a banner and controls.
5) “Do we sell or share data?”
No. We do not sell your personal information. We also do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.
6) Who processes data for us (service providers)
We use service providers (sometimes called “processors”) to run the Site and handle inbound requests. They must only use your data to provide their services to us.
- Hosting / web platform: Squarespace; Netlify.
- Email & productivity: Google Workspace.
- Form database: Airtable (contact form submissions flow to an Airtable base).
- Analytics: Google Analytics (GA4) (planned).
- Scheduling: If you choose to schedule via youcanbook.me, you will leave our Site. Your use of that service is governed by youcanbook.me’s own terms and privacy policy.
This list is illustrative. Providers may change without notice. Material changes in data uses will be reflected by updating this page.
7) Data retention
We keep website inquiry records until you ask us to remove them, then delete them (or de-identify) within a reasonable period. System logs and analytics may be kept longer in aggregate form for security and performance. If a separate contract applies, its retention terms control.
8) Security
We use reasonable measures to protect website submissions and accounts we control. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please avoid sending sensitive project or dispute information through the Site.
9) Children
The Site is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, email privacy@solarperspectives.com and we will remove it.
10) Your rights and choices
Everyone: You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your website submission. Email privacy@solarperspectives.com with your request, and we’ll verify and respond.
California (CPRA): If and when California privacy law applies to us as a “business,” California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and limit the use of sensitive information, and to opt out of “sale”/“sharing.” We currently do not sell or share personal information. We will honor applicable requests as required by law and, at our discretion, for others where feasible.
Outside the U.S.: The Site is operated in the United States. By using it, you understand your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the U.S. Where required, we will rely on appropriate legal bases (for example, our legitimate interests in running a secure, useful website and responding to your inquiry).
11) Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party services (for example, youcanbook.me). Their privacy practices are their own. Review their policies before using those services.
12) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Site or to applicable law. We’ll post the updated date at the top. Material changes will take effect on posting unless a different effective date is stated.
13) Definitions (plain English)
- Personal information / personal data: Information that identifies or can be reasonably linked to a person, such as a name or email address.
- Service provider / processor: A company we engage that processes personal information for us under contract and only for our purposes (for example, hosting or analytics).
- Sell / share: As defined by California law. “Share” generally means disclosing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
